For single-storey buildings, yes. For steep roofs and double- or triple-storey buildings, I use a drone so the roof can be assessed safely and thoroughly.

Yes. Drainage is something I’m often asked to look at, and for good reason. Many homes — particularly older or lower-cost properties — have little or no drainage installed, and adding it later can cost thousands. Poor drainage is a major contributing factor to foundation settlement issues, so it’s well worth checking.

I don’t carry out dedicated mould inspections. However, if I notice mould during the inspection, I’ll note it in the report.
